"Options Collaborative provides alternative options for at-risk populations to improve their current situations. We collaborate with organizations to ensure the best possible success rate."
Options Collaborative was established to provide services and resources for the at-risk population of Northern Santa Barbara County and Nipomo. Those who are considered "at-risk" are: foster youth, transitional age youth, and those who identify as LGBTQ+. We also help veterans and people experiencing homelessness.
Our clients often encounter our agency due to community outreach, or they find us as they need help meeting an emergency need such as rent assistance or a bus pass. As we establish trust and build relationships, we provide other case management services such as money management, independent living/life skills, education support, employment coaching, networking, reliable transportation, and more.
It is our desire to promote the health and well-being of those in our geographic area through the cooperation of like-minded agencies, organizations and the community.
Change takes a community – a neighborhood, town, or block… Change happens because of a group of people collaborating, even if there are only a few, who care, who work together, and who are ready to act.
